Created by designer Michele De Lucchi for GUBI, the Bistra Armchair reinvents the bistro chair in a sculptural, poetic form. A fusion of craftsmanship and auteur design, it celebrates the beauty of Rattan in a fluid, timeless language, where the material seems to come to life under the effect of gesture.
Vibrant, plant-inspired design
Made from steam-bent rattan, the Bistra armchair features organic lines evocative of tree growth. The light, intertwined curves create a harmonious structure that's both solid and airy. The seat, upholstered in Fustagno velvet woven in Italy, seduces with its deep texture and velvety feel, a symbol of the handcrafted refinement so dear to GUBI.
