All the comfort and refinement of indoor furniture for your garden and terrace. For twenty-five years, the Belgian Ethnicraft brand has honored the beauty and authenticity of Solid wood. Timeless, extremely solid and durable, this is quality furniture that ages beautifully and is handed down from generation to generation.
Handcrafted, Ethnicraft furniture is the fruit of exceptional know-how. Behind the apparent simplicity of the design lies a constant quest for innovation. Integrating advanced techniques into the creative process, each new design is crafted down to the smallest detail.
With the Bok armchair, Belgian designer Alain van Havre combines sculptural elegance and contemporary craftsmanship in a graceful, airy form.
Solid teak has undergone no protective treatment. The wood is simply polished, allowing the natural oils to rise to the surface. The high density of Teak wood makes it an excellent choice for outdoor use. Ethnicraft works closely with the Indonesian government agency responsible for managing the Teak plantations originally established by the Dutch 150 years ago.
Ethnicraft Solid teak furniture is made in Indonesia. Ethnicraft's decision to locate its factory in Indonesia not only limits the needless transportation of goods, and all the ecological damage this entails, but also supports the local population and economy by creating employment and educational opportunities, as well as job security. What's more, getting local people, who are generally uninformed about sustainable development, to work for us means sharing these values and educating them so that they become aware of them in their everyday lives.
