Cabri Storage unit wood grey With casters / For vinyl records or books

Cabri Storage Unit: A compact column designed for vinyl records and decorative items

With its vertical silhouette measuring 35 x 35 x H 81 cm, the Cabri unit combines multiple uses in a particularly compact design. Its four stacked compartments are sized to hold vinyl records, as well as books, magazines, or decorative objects. Mounted on casters, it can be easily moved from the living room to a music corner or a studio. Its visual identity is defined by an FSC®-certified grey pine veneer featuring dark, swirling, and highly contrasting patterns, which transforms this storage unit into a true decorative piece.

Vertical storage that plays with rhythm

Cabri features a simple yet highly graphic design. The cubic compartments are stacked within a narrow frame, creating a rhythm of solids and voids that visually lightens the piece. The wood grain further accentuates this effect. The black lines follow the natural irregularities of the veneer and give each side a different look. More than just a storage column, Cabri thus becomes a small sculptural piece of furniture that’s easy to incorporate without weighing down the space.

A piece designed to complement a collection

The compartments, measuring 33.5 cm high by 35 cm deep, are ideal for vinyl record storage, allowing the sleeves to be slipped in vertically and kept easily accessible. But the piece isn’t limited to this use. It can just as easily hold large-format books, magazines, boxes, or a few carefully chosen objects. This versatility allows Cabri to adapt as your rooms and needs change, without being confined to a single function.

Where should you place a narrow storage column?

A narrow storage column like Cabri is particularly well-suited for areas where every centimeter counts. Its 35 x 35 cm footprint allows it to be placed next to a sofa, near a Turntable, in a corner of the living room, or along a wall. Its height of 81 cm also allows it to serve as a small display stand for a few books or a decorative object.

Can you store vinyl records in the Cabri unit?

Yes. The compartments are designed with dimensions suited for vinyl record storage. Their 33.5 cm height allows record sleeves to be stored vertically, while still providing easy access to your collection. The unit can thus complement a music corner without taking up the space of a large hi-fi system.

Can this unit be used for anything other than storing vinyl records?

Yes. Cabri is intentionally versatile. The four compartments can hold books, magazines, or decorative objects—either on their own or alongside records. This flexibility is particularly useful if you want to use the unit in multiple rooms or change its contents over time.

Is the Cabri unit easy to move?

Yes. Cabri is mounted on casters, making it easy to move around the room or reposition as needed. This mobility is useful in a living room, studio, or music room where the layout may change regularly.

How do I care for the wood veneer on the Cabri unit?

Wipe it down with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive materials or chemicals for cleaning.

Compact, mobile, and versatile enough to go beyond its original purpose, Cabri easily fits into interiors where storage needs to be as practical as it is visually appealing. Its slim silhouette and striking wood veneer allow it to blend into the space while still catching the eye.

CAUTION: Always use coasters or other protective items with a soft surface to avoid damaging the product. Never leave wet objects on the wood, as this could cause stains or leave permanent marks.
