Imagined by Carolina Castiglioni, founder of Plan C and heir to an iconoclastic eye for fashion and design, the Candela candle by Plan C x Serax reinvents the fragrance ritual through a playful aesthetic and sculptural container. At the crossroads of exceptional fragrance and art object, it combines emotions, memories and design.
Graphic design and a postmodernist spirit
The Candela candle 's bold geometric lines, assertive volumes and contrasting colors draw on the heritage of the Memphis movement. Each Enamelled sandstone pot features a lid with a massive, miniature totem-like handle. The result is a bold silhouette that evokes the Italian design of the 1980s, when form became aesthetic manifesto.
Exceptional fragrances and craftsmanship
Hand-poured from Soy wax, each Candela is scented with an exclusive blend ofessential oils created in Grasse. Three olfactory signatures are offered: "Cedar Atlas, Virginia & Texas" for a woody, enveloping ambience, "Red Apple, Jasmine, Suede" for a contrasting, sensual trail, and "Bergamot, Basil, Patchouli" for a textured, vegetal freshness.
