Chip Candy Bowl: A Sweet and Tangy Touch for Your Table

With the Chip Candy bowl, Bloomingville has created cheerful tableware that draws its colors and energy from the world of candy. Its name, “Candy Pink,” immediately sets the tone. Hand-painted stripes, polka dots on the inside, and a wavy rim create a graphic, retro-inspired decoration, brought to life by a fresh, zesty color palette.

Crafted from hand-painted sandstone, the bowl measures Ø 17 x H 7 cm. It comes in two delicious variations. The pink version combines pink stripes with brown polka dots, while the red version creates contrast with small beige polka dots. Since each piece is handcrafted, there may be slight variations in pattern and color intensity, giving each piece its own unique character.

Tableware inspired by the world of candy

With its “Candy Pink” inscription, candy-store-style stripes, and soft colors, the Chip bowl embraces a deliberately nostalgic aesthetic. It evokes candy stores, carnivals, and counters filled with sweets, in a graphic interpretation that’s easy to incorporate into a contemporary table setting. An object designed as much to serve as to set the tone for the Decoration.

A collection designed to be mixed and matched

The Candy bowl is part of a larger family of Chip bowls and salad bowls that can be freely combined. The collection features the words CANDY, Pop Corn, and CHIPS in various colors and sizes, always with the same mix of stripes, polka dots, and retro typography. Together, these pieces let you create a deliberately mismatched yet cohesive table setting, where each item adds its own zesty touch.

What to serve in the Chip Candy bowl?

Candy, marshmallows, chocolates, cookies, or dried fruit all fit perfectly in it. Its 17-cm diameter also makes it ideal for serving fresh fruit, small cakes, or bite-sized treats to share. For an afternoon snack, it’s the perfect container for setting up a real candy bar. During cocktail hour, its design adds an unexpected touch to nuts, crackers, and other savory treats.

How can you set up a birthday table with the Chip collection?

The Chip collection is particularly well-suited for generously laid tables where the containers are an integral part of the Decoration. Arrange several Candy Pink bowls filled with sweets, then add the large Pop Corn and Chips containers to hold popcorn, cookies, and snacks. The different labels allow guests to immediately identify the contents while creating a playful display. It’s the perfect setup for a birthday party, an afternoon snack, a movie night, or a festive buffet.

How can you mix and match the colors in the Chip collection?

The appeal of the collection lies precisely in layering the pieces. Pink, red, blue, and yellow can be mixed without striving for uniformity. Stripes and polka dots serve as the common thread linking the different designs. For a vibrant table setting, mix and match colors and sizes. For a softer look, choose two or three shades and pair them with an ecru tablecloth or solid-colored tableware.

Can the Candy bowl be used for anything other than candy?

Yes. Its design provides a decorative theme without limiting its use. The bowl can hold fruit on the breakfast table, cookies with coffee, or small portions during brunch. Between meals, it can also be left on display on a shelf or countertop with a few treats within easy reach.

With its hand-painted design, vibrant colors, and humorous inscription, the Bloomingville Chip Candy bowl invites you to set a table that’s as indulgent as it is cheerful. Pair it freely with the Pop Corn and Chips designs to create a colorful dresser where every treat finds its perfect spot.
