Chip Chips Salad Bowl: The Must-Have Piece for Gourmet Appetizers

With the Chip Chips salad bowl, Bloomingville transforms one of the great appetizer classics into a true decorative piece. Its “CHIPS” inscription, hand-painted vertical stripes, and polka dots on the inside create a graphic, cheerful, and decidedly retro design. Its wavy rim adds an extra finishing touch and further accentuates its playful character.

Made of hand-painted stoneware, this large salad bowl measures Ø 24 x H 7 cm. It comes in three color combinations: blue stripes and pink polka dots, yellow stripes and gray polka dots, or pink stripes and brown polka dots. Slight variations in pattern and color intensity may occur from one piece to another, giving each model its own unique character.

Tableware designed for moments of sharing

With its generous diameter and wide-open shape, the Chip salad bowl is designed to take center stage on the table. Its “CHIPS” inscription fully embraces its playful and laid-back spirit. The striped pattern, polka dots, and vibrant colors create a cheerful piece that immediately catches the eye during an appetizer hour or a Dresser.

What to serve in the Chip Chips salad bowl?

Chips are a natural fit, but its large size also makes it perfect for serving crackers, appetizer cookies, tortillas, dried fruit, or small savory bites. For an afternoon snack or a Dresser, it can also hold cookies, pastries, or treats to share. Its shallow depth makes serving easy and allows guests to help themselves effortlessly.

How can you create an appetizer spread with the Chip collection?

The Chips model is an excellent base for hosting a convivial appetizer spread. Fill it with chips or crackers, add a Pop Corn salad bowl for puffed snacks, and a few Candy bowls for candy or dried fruit. The different inscriptions help organize the buffet while giving the whole display a cohesive visual look.

How can you use the Chips salad bowl for a birthday or party?

Its large size and graphic design are perfect for birthday tables, dressers, or get-togethers with friends. Placed in the center of a table alongside the other Chip pieces, it serves as both decoration and servingware. The colorful stripes instantly add a lively touch, while the different sizes let you organize the treats by type.

How can you mix and match the colors in the Chip collection?

Blue, yellow, pink, and red can be freely combined to create a vibrant, colorful table. The Candy Pink, Pop Corn, and Chips designs all feature the same mix of stripes, polka dots, and lettering, allowing you to layer them without losing harmony. To balance this profusion of colors, pair them with light wood, an ecru tablecloth, or white tableware.

Can this salad bowl be used for anything other than chips?

Yes. Its slogan sets the tone but doesn’t limit its use. Thanks to its 24-cm diameter, it can also serve as a presentation dish for fruit, cookies, bread, or small portions to share. Between meals, its decorative design even makes it suitable for display on a table or shelf.

With its large size, vibrant colors, and humorous inscription, the Bloomingville Chip Chips salad bowl is designed for generous tables and moments of sharing. Pair it with the Candy Pink and Pop Corn models to create a gourmet, colorful, and decidedly convivial Dresser.
