Chisel Round Table, Ø 120 cm: The Elegance of Carved Wood for Everyday Life
With its balanced design and bold character, the Chisel round table, designed by Andreas Bergsaker for Hay, elevates everyday meals. Its minimalist design highlights the craftsmanship of the wood while offering a warm and contemporary presence.
A silhouette inspired by artisanal craftsmanship
The Chisel round oak table is part of a collection born from a genuine passion for wood and its natural qualities. Its veneered oak molded plywood tray, protected by a water-based lacquer, reveals an elegant grain, while its central legs feature the collection’s signature beveled details. Inspired by the traditional chisel that gives it its name, these sculpted forms add depth and character in a style that is both minimalist and timeless. Every detail reflects a meticulous design process where craftsmanship and industrial manufacturing come together in perfect harmony.
Designed to complement every moment
With a diameter of 120 cm, this round table for four comfortably accommodates everyday meals, dinners with friends, or informal gatherings. Its central base leaves the space beneath the table top completely unobstructed, providing more comfortable seating regardless of the seating arrangement chosen. Adjustable furniture glides ensure perfect stability even on uneven floors. Manufactured in Europe, backed by a 10-year warranty, and certified for commercial use, it meets the requirements of both residential interiors and those of restaurants, hotels, or coworking spaces.
A signature piece for any project
Thanks to its cohesive design language, the HAY Chisel table pairs naturally with chairs from the same collection but also complements contemporary seating made of wood, fabric, or metal. Available in Natural oak or Black oak finishes, it fits just as well in a Scandinavian-inspired dining room as it does in a minimalist interior or a sleek café. Its balance between sculptural presence and understated elegance allows it to transcend trends without ever losing its relevance.
Choosing the Chisel round table means investing in furniture designed to last, where every detail celebrates the beauty of wood and the quality of craftsmanship. A timeless piece that transforms every shared moment into an experience that is as elegant as it is natural.
