Chisel 630 Extending table natural wood / L 180/280 cm x 95 cm

Chisel Extending Table, 180–280 cm: a design that evolves with your needs

Designed by Andreas Bergsaker for Hay, the Chisel extending table combines the elegance of wood with seamlessly integrated functionality. Compact for everyday use yet spacious in an instant, it naturally complements both everyday meals and special occasions thanks to its timeless design and discreetly integrated Extension leaf.

Precision Woodworking

The Chisel oak extendable table celebrates the natural qualities of wood through a molded plywood top veneered with oak and protected by a water-based lacquer that highlights the subtlety of the grain. Designed with meticulous attention to detail and build quality, it rests on four angled bases positioned at each corner. Their subtly beveled edges evoke the traditional chisel that inspired the collection’s name and give the table a sculptural silhouette with contemporary elegance.

A table that adapts to any gathering

Measuring 180 x 95 cm and extendable up to 280 cm, this extendable table for 6 to 12 people comfortably seats 6 to 8 guests for everyday use and up to 10 to 12 people once the extension leaf is installed. Its extension system allows you to quickly expand the tray to host a family dinner, a festive meal, or a business meeting. The adjustable furniture glides ensure perfect stability on all types of floors. Manufactured in Europe, backed by a 10-year warranty, and certified for commercial use, it meets the needs of both homeowners and restaurants, coffee shops, or meeting spaces.

Elegance that complements any space

Available in several wood finishes, the HAY Chisel table fits naturally into a contemporary dining room, an open kitchen, a coffee shop, or a coworking space. It pairs harmoniously with the chairs from the Chisel collection thanks to a shared aesthetic, while also blending effortlessly with other contemporary seating. Its balance of simplicity and character ensures it will stand the test of time as your decoration evolves.

Choosing the Chisel extending table means investing in furniture designed to evolve with your daily life and your moments of togetherness. A timeless piece that combines functional ingenuity, quality craftsmanship, and enduring elegance.
