Sometimes compared to Brigitte Bardot's Saint-Tropez of the 1950s, Comporta, with its relaxed pace and artistic community, is the ideal destination for those looking to get away from it all. It's the new favorite destination of celebrities such as Jacques Grange, Farida Khelfa, François Dumas, the Espírito Santo family and Madonna, who shares photos of her children at the beach and riding horses in the dunes of nearby Carvalhal at weekends.
This fishing village boasts numerous beaches, mosaic rice fields and an ecosystem populated by storks and frogs, all set against a backdrop of calm and serenity for the houses here: rustic Den and thatched huts that reflect the carefree lifestyle that has become Comporta's trademark. This particular Frame challenges the minds of architects and designers, giving rise to unique spaces that delightfully blur the line between inside and outside. In these pages, the region's characteristic Cobalt blue is reflected from the sky and sea on the walls, shutters and design pieces that adorn its homes, both picturesque and bold. Discover the beauty and joy of simplicity with Comporta Bliss.
