Composed of simple geometric shapes, his lights are imbued with a strong sculptural dimension. Witness his incredible Coordinates collection: an assembly of horizontal and vertical luminous rods. A minimal aesthetic that is no less spectacular. Reduced to their purest essence, these abstract light forms do not lack physical, sensual or enigmatic presence. The tinted aluminium structure houses a flexible LED strip protected by an opaline silicone diffuser. For Michael Anastassiades, it goes without saying that a “lamp that is only lit 20% of the time must be particularly beautiful when turned off, interacting by its presence alone with the environment’’.
