Particularly concerned with the well-being of its students, the University of Copenhagen turned to brothers Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec to design all the furniture for its literature department. "It's a very interesting historical situation," says Ronan Bouroullec. "Since the last century, every time a school or university is built in Denmark, a designer is asked to create the furniture for that space."
The highly successful Copenhagen collection is predominantly made of Wood, with harmonious, balanced shapes that convey a sense of lightness and harmony.
The CPH10 Desk features symmetrical legs with a generous Tray, creating a large workspace. It is suitable for use in a wide range of environments.
Hay uses an innovative, environmentally-friendly water-based paint.
