The Coppia Lamp, designed by Danish designer Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt, transcends the role of luminaire to become a true work of art. This large lamp combines a brushed stainless steel structure with colored Plexiglas discs, playing on contrasts between materials and shapes. With its fluid, geometric lines, Coppia embodies industrial elegance and is part of an approach where design, art and craftsmanship meet.
A fascinating duality of materials and light
The name Coppia, meaning "couple" in Italian, illustrates the harmony between Steel and Plexiglas. The latter, the designer's signature material, is available in three Natural colors - Blush, Olive and Clover - combined with an Ivory base. The light diffused by the discs softens the reflections on the steel, creating Toy of transparency and depth. Openings in the structure invite the eye to explore the details, reinforcing the sculptural aspect of the Lamp.
Designed for modularity
