The String System, a vision of free, progressive Storage
Conceived in 1949, the String System is based on a simple but revolutionary idea: to offer furniture that can adapt to any space and any lifestyle. Made up of interchangeable uprights and units, it can be used to create made-to-measure wall compositions, from the living room to the kitchen, from the office to the bedroom. From light bookcases and open dressing rooms to functional storage, each configuration can be freely constructed and evolves over time. This modular approach makes the String system just as appropriate for optimizing a small space as it is for structuring an entire wall, with aesthetic coherence and great flexibility of use.
A precise, closed Unit designed to enrich the composition
The Door Crate is available in a single width, 58 cm, and a single depth, 30 cm. The Crate is compatible with all 30 cm deep String® System plexiglass and grid mountings. It's visually pleasing to add a bolder element to your Shelf, such as a Crate, which also gives you extra storage space. The Door can be mounted on either side of the Crate. The Crate features an adjustable inner shelf and the interior dimensions are: W54 x D26 x H38 cm. The Crate is supplied unassembled.
