The String System, a vision of free, progressive Storage
Conceived in 1949, the String System is based on a simple but revolutionary idea: to offer furniture capable of adapting to all spaces and lifestyles. Made up of interchangeable uprights and units, it can be used to create made-to-measure wall compositions, from the living room to the kitchen, from the office to the bedroom. From light bookcases and open dressing rooms to functional storage, each configuration can be freely constructed and evolves over time. This modular approach makes the String system just as appropriate for optimizing a small space as it is for structuring an entire wall, with aesthetic coherence and great flexibility of use.
A precise sliding Unit designed to enrich the composition
Sliding Door Crates are available in a single width, 78 cm, and in two depths, 20 and 30 cm. The Crates are compatible with all String® System grid and plexiglass mountings. It's visually pleasing to add a bolder element to your shelf, such as a Crate, which also gives you extra storage space. The Crate consists of a centrally-placed divider and two adjustable interior shelves. Crates are supplied unassembled.
