Set of 2 Delight Baubles by Alessi: the graphic detail that brings the fir-tree to life
With this set of 2 Delight Christmas baubles, Nika Zupanc has designed a festive decoration for Alessi where every detail counts. Crafted from mouth blown glass, the two 6 cm Ø baubles make a pair that’s easy to incorporate into your Fir-tree. The collection is available in four sets with different patterns, offered in green or red, so you can create a monochromatic display or mix the two classic Christmas colors. Each bauble comes with a gold cord that adds a sparkling finish and makes it easy to hang.
Nika Zupanc Embraces Pattern
The Delight ornaments reflect Nika Zupanc’s intuitive and eclectic vision through graphic compositions that reinterpret traditional holiday motifs. Rather than relying on uniformity, the various pairs allow you to play with patterns, rhythms, and colors. The blown glass lends a sense of lightness to the ensemble, while the gold cords create an elegant connecting thread between the ornaments.
How do you choose between the green and red sets?
Both color schemes allow you to create very different atmospheres. The green baubles blend naturally into the branches of the fir-tree and draw more attention to the patterns, while the red versions create a bolder, instantly festive contrast. You can also mix the two colors to create a more lavish decoration, while maintaining a sense of cohesion thanks to the collection’s shared design language.
Where should you hang these baubles?
Their compact 6-cm diameter makes them versatile for many uses. These designer baubles can, of course, be hung on the branches of the fir-tree, but they can also decorate a Christmas wreath, a natural branch, a window, or a table arrangement. Their size is particularly well-suited for creating clusters without visually weighing down the decor.
Can you mix and match different Delight sets?
Yes. The four sets are especially effective when combined. By alternating the different patterns, you create a more lively and less repetitive decoration. You can stick to a single color for a very controlled, graphic look, or pair green and red to capture the traditional Christmas spirit with a more contemporary twist.
Delicate, graphic, and easy to layer, the Delight ornaments let you gradually build a personalized display. Just a few pairs are enough to add rhythm to a fir-tree, while combining several sets creates a more generous arrangement—always with that touch of sophisticated whimsy unique to Nika Zupanc.
