A Floor lamp in raw materials with a poetic style

Created by Belgian artist Marie Michielssen, Earth 03 straddles the border between art object and luminaire. Handcrafted from recycled papier mâché and topped with a natural linen lampshade, this floor lamp embodies a raw, sensitive aesthetic. Every irregularity, every imperfect curve reveals a gesture, an emotion, a presence. An inhabited creation, inviting us to slow down and contemplate.

Intuition as a formal language

Marie Michielssen doesn't design her pieces using sketches or software: she shapes the material directly, guided by intuition. Her creative process is akin to gestural meditation, in which primary forms - spheres, cones, cylinders - combine to create organic, totemic silhouettes. In this way, the floor lamp base becomes the witness to a plastic quest, somewhere between sculpture and design.

An everyday atmospheric object

Earth 03 isn't just a visual work of art: it's also a luminaire designed for everyday use. Equipped with a cable switch and an E14 bulb, it diffuses felted light through its linen Lampshade. A soft glow that envelops the space and creates a warm, relaxing atmosphere.

A centerpiece for an exceptional interior

In a graphic living room, a soothing reading nook or a bedroom with Natural accents, Earth 03 adds a sculptural, sensory dimension. Its raw material dialogues with Light wood, waxed concrete and washed textiles. An auteur piece that anchors the decor in a register that is at once artistic, intimate and profoundly contemporary.

Hand-finished, irregularities are considered part of the uniqueness of each piece.
