The Eighties rug fully embodies the artistic vision of Lavinia Augeai, founder of the French studio COLORTHERAPIS. Originally from Romania, the designer creates each of her own graphics and draws inspiration from sources as varied as fashion, nature, and the seasons. Her work is marked by Fauvism and the art of Matisse, whose bold use of vibrant colors and freedom of composition she admires. She also draws inspiration from the aesthetics of the 1970s, the graphic principles of the Bauhaus, and the nonconformist spirit of the Memphis movement. Ochre yellow, powder pink, black-and-white contrasts, and deconstructed lines come together here to create a joyful and expressive design that immediately catches the eye.
