Ellisse Double LED Pendant metal white / Ø 135 cm - Nemo

A magnificent light sculpture, the Ellisse pendant has a simple, pure and very graphical shape. These two rings (Ø 135 & Ø 70 cm) which intertwine draw frames in the air which mark out empty spaces and fill them with light. These ultra-minimalist, open, extruded aluminium structures are like imprints in space, pencil strokes sketched in the air, or three-dimensional signs. Ellipse highlights the essential: namely, light, which becomes the central player in the aesthetics of the lamp. The void fills with a luminous substance that radiates all around, without revealing the light source. The poetry of this emptiness inevitably makes us think of its opposite: the materiality of the world. Each ring has an LED strip which runs along the circumference of the ring. The LED strip is located behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The small ring emits an indirect light (directed upwards), while the large ring emits a direct light (directed downwards).
