The FENG screen was born from the desire of Italian studio Testatonda to combine functionality with elegance. The design of Feng was inspired by the Japanese concept of shibumi, "discreet beauty", which is expressed through harmonious shapes, essential materials and elegant details. All of these elements which, when combined, compose a piece with a soul that can make a statement in any space. The structure is composed of rods of black lacquered beech, sat atop brass legs. The two dividing panels are made in a high-end fabric stretched over a metal frame. The central canvases unfold, almost puffed out by the wind, forming three-dimensional volumes that take on the linearity of the design. The canvases constitute a decorative element that can create various geometric plays. The stunning blue fabric with gold patterns was created by Dedar. This harmonious jacquard creates a space with a celestial ambiance: a reminder of classics, with an intensely modern language. The architecture cohabits with nature, in a paradisical vision of the environment. This town is perfect, occupied by cypress trees, fantastic birds and metaphysical shapes. The art of the jacquard with a metallic effect harmoniously yet boldly brings a vibrant colour palette to life. Open living rooms are perfectly suited to our modern lifestyles. To define the spaces without losing brightness or a social spirit, the Feng screen is the ideal solution for creating two-in-one spaces. Rich materials, high standards of quality, exceptional finishes and an original form, all wonderfully characteristic of the Wiener GTV Design spirit.
