Designit Cake plate - a graphic signature between art and staging
With this designer Cake plate, the table becomes a space of expression where every detail counts. Imagined by Belgian design duo Wouters & Hendrix, this Display unit transposes their creative universe to the art of the table. A blend of visual Toy and attention to detail, it transforms presentation into an aesthetic experience.
Wouters & Hendrix, from jewelry to tableware
Founded in Antwerp in 1984, Wouters & Hendrix is renowned for its free and artistic approach to jewelry. With the Les Objets Mouleversants collection, the duo apply this same language to everyday objects. This China cake display unit is a direct translation. Its Blue and White checkerboard pattern creates a hypnotic optical effect, true to the duo's taste for quirkiness and visual expression. Enamelled china enhances the graphic precision, while the Base, legs act as a pedestal, almost like a gallery piece.
A piece designed to accompany real moments
This Base, legs Presentation dish is a natural choice for a brunch, snack or dinner party. It enhances a homemade cake, pastries or even a fruit arrangement. Its height creates relief on the table and visually structures the service. It's a piece designed to be used, not just displayed.
A contemporary table design
In a contemporary kitchen, a minimalist table or a more expressive setting, this original design display unit becomes a focal point. It adds that final touch that transforms a simple presentation into a real showpiece. True to the Wouters & Hendrix approach, it blurs the boundaries between functional and artistic objects.
Choosing this Dish means bringing a designer's signature into everyday life, and giving every dessert an almost scenographic presence.
