Fifty-Fifty Desk Lamp: Balance in the Service of Light
With Fifty-Fifty, Sam Weller has designed a desk lamp for Hay in which every element embodies balance and simplicity. Its minimalist aesthetic highlights discreet engineering that offers great freedom of movement while maintaining a remarkable visual lightness.
Mechanics as elegant as they are precise
The Fifty-Fifty desk lamp takes its name from its counterweight system, which ensures perfect stability while facilitating the movement of the articulated arm. Crafted from extruded and moulded aluminium, combined with a steel base, it features clean lines that blend naturally into a contemporary interior. Available in black or ash grey, it combines understated elegance with superior craftsmanship.
Lighting Designed for Everyday Use
Thanks to its articulated arm and adjustable shade, this LED desk lamp provides precise lighting for work, reading, or creative activities. Its touch-sensitive dimmer on the lamp head allows you to intuitively adjust the light intensity according to the time of day. Its built-in LED light source emits a uniform warm white light at 3000 K, while offering a lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours and low energy consumption.
A hallmark of contemporary design
Based in Copenhagen, Sam Weller develops designs where function naturally dictates form. With Fifty-Fifty, he has created a light fixture that transcends its utilitarian purpose to become a true piece of domestic architecture. Whether on a desk, a console table, or in a home office, this adjustable designer lamp makes a subtle statement while precisely meeting the demands of everyday life.
The Fifty-Fifty desk lamp will appeal to those seeking high-performance lighting without sacrificing elegance. A creation designed to be a lasting companion for workspaces and living areas.
