Fifty-Fifty E-Reader: Balance for Comfort
With Fifty-Fifty, Sam Weller has designed a stylish e-reader for Hay that seamlessly blends precision engineering with minimalist aesthetics. Its counterweight system ensures remarkably smooth movement, while its clean lines allow it to blend naturally into any living space.
A design thought out down to the smallest detail
The Fifty-Fifty small reading lamp owes its name to its ingenious counterweight mechanism, which perfectly balances the base and the articulated arm. Crafted from extruded and moulded aluminium with a steel base, it combines visual elegance with stability. Available in black or ash grey, it blends elegantly into contemporary, minimalist, or industrial-inspired interiors.
High-quality light, exactly where you need it
Designed to enhance reading moments, this adjustable small reading lamp naturally finds its place next to an armchair, a sofa, or at the bedside. Its articulated arm and adjustable shade allow you to direct the light with great precision, without causing glare or disrupting the room’s atmosphere. Its touch-sensitive dimmer intuitively adjusts the brightness to your preference, while its built-in 3000 K LED light source provides even, comfortable light for nearly 25,000 hours.
A discreet presence that enhances everyday life
Based in Copenhagen, Sam Weller designs objects where function naturally dictates form. With Fifty-Fifty, he has created a designer LED small reading lamp that transcends its primary function to become a true element of interior architecture. Placed next to an armchair, a sofa, or in a relaxation area, it accompanies everyday activities with understated elegance and precise lighting.
The Fifty-Fifty small reading lamp will appeal to those seeking high-performance lighting without compromising on design. A timeless creation that transforms every moment of reading into a moment of comfort.
