Serax Fish & Fish Carafe: Retro Style Sets Sail
Designed by Paola Navone for Serax, the Fish & Fish carafe takes the shape of a herring in deeply textured dark green glass. Scales, eyes, and fins are embossed across the entire surface, transforming this everyday object into a true decorative piece. Measuring L 10.6 × D 7.5 × H 29 cm and holding 85 cl, it’s the natural companion for meals and aperitifs.
Inspiration drawn from 1930s American glassware
For Fish & Fish, Paola Navone draws on her research into American pressed glass from the 1930s, during the Great Depression. The herring becomes the central theme of the collection and gives the Carafe its instantly recognizable character. This vintage reference is reimagined with the designer’s signature freedom and humor.
What can you serve in the Fish & Fish Carafe?
Its 85 cl capacity is perfect for serving water, Lemonade, or other chilled beverages. Its expressive silhouette also allows it to remain on the table once serving is complete, as a true decorative object.
