Flying Carpet x Miffy: the spirit of Dutch design at a child's height
Born from the meeting of Fatboy and Miffy, this creation celebrates two icons of Dutch design. Created in 1955 by illustrator Dick Burnuna, Miffy - or Nijntje in Dutch - is a little white rabbit that has become a universal symbol of tenderness. Her clean lines, thick black outlines and bold flat colors reflect the quintessence of post-war Dutch graphic design. Miffy's worldwide success has left its mark on the imaginations of several generations of children. In association with Fatboy, she is brought to life on a Play mat designed for modern explorers.
Graphic design and responsible materials
Made from 100% recycled polyester, the Flying Carpet x Miffy features Dick Burnish's signature vivid hues. Its soft, foam-padded surface provides comfortable seating, while its non-slip underside guarantees stability and safety. Available in blue, green, orange or yellow, it adds a pop of sunshine to any living space.
Playful use and lasting comfort
In the living room, it becomes a soft Toy area where children build, laugh and invent stories. In the bedroom, it becomes a reading corner or an imaginary adventure playground. And when the weekend arrives, it's ready for the outdoors: on the terrace, in the garden or in the park, for a cheerful picnic or a nap in the Sun. Its water-repellent, UV-resistant and machine-washable material makes life easier for parents, while its fastening system enables several Rugs to be assembled to create a large shared play area.
A timeless pop universe
A cult children's character, Miffy embodies the innocence and poetry of Nordic design. In a bedroom, living room or garden, the Flying Carpet x Miffy evokes the simple joy of childhood, between happy nostalgia and colorful modernity.
Both a decorative object and a playground, it invites young and old to share a moment of tenderness and creative freedom.
