Vase Gala Small - a design work inspired by movement and memory
With the Gala Small Vase, the most mundane gesture becomes a source of creation. Halfway between design vase and contemporary sculpture, this piece captures the lightness of an instant to make a lasting object, charged with meaning and emotion.
A free form born of a suspended moment
This China vase is inspired by a plastic bag lifted by the wind, frozen in an unpredictable dance. The supple folds, irregular volumes and glossy surface convey this fleeting movement with an almost sensitive precision. The material seems to vibrate, as if animated by the air, while the luminous color reinforces this impression of lightness. The result is an organic, contemporary aesthetic where every angle offers a new reading.
A sublimated everyday object
Conceived as a decorative vase, it holds a few fine stems or wild flowers, but can just as easily be displayed on its own. On a console, in a living room or bedroom, it creates an interesting contrast with more rigorous lines. It's an ideal piece for those looking for a design object capable of transforming a space without weighing it down.
Kseniya Kravtsova, an artistic approach combining nature and poetry
Ukrainian artist and designer Kseniya Kravtsova 's work is deeply linked to nature and memory. Having grown up in the countryside near Lviv, she has been influenced by a culture where traditions and ties to the Earth are still very much alive. Now living in the South of France for over twenty years, her work is nourished by this dual influence, between rural heritage and Mediterranean gentleness. She describes herself as a poet turned artist, a sensibility that is reflected in each of her ceramic objects.
With the Gala collection, she turns a symbol of ecological neglect into an object of contemplation. Here, the Plastic Bag becomes an elegant, enduring form, offering a new reading of everyday life and inviting us to slow down our gaze.
Choosing this designer Vase means integrating into your home a piece that goes beyond its function to become a visual narrative, a poetic trace of movement and time.
