The A330S Pendant, also known as the "Golden Bell" because of its bell shape, was designed in 1937 by Alvar Aalto for the Savoy restaurant in Helsinki. To this day, the elegant A330S sets the pace in the restaurant's long room. It was exhibited in the pavilion at the 1937 Paris Universal Exhibition.
The Lampshade is made from a single piece of hand-spun Brass. Its Drilling machine edge creates an aesthetic light halo and prevents glare. The Golden Bell Pendant provides warm, diffused light.
Although created in the 1930s, its timeless, elegant design makes it a lamp that is still highly prized today. This luminaire embodies Alvar Aalto's uncluttered aesthetic.
