Gravity Floor Lamp: The Art of Balance
The Gravity Floor Lamp, designed by Space Copenhagen for Gubi, transforms a play of contrasts into a true aesthetic signature. Combining mineral-like strength with airy lightness, it casts an enveloping glow while standing out as a centerpiece of any Decoration.
A silhouette where the material comes to life
The Gravity marble floor lamp draws its identity from the balance between a cylindrical marble base and a wide lampshade made of natural beige cloth. Connected by a slender black metal stem, these elements form a simple yet refined silhouette whose proportions immediately catch the eye. Available with a burgundy marble or emerald green marble base, it blends seamlessly into minimalist, contemporary, or “quiet luxury”-inspired interiors. Its aesthetic remains just as striking even when the light is off.
Light to Accompany Every Moment
Thanks to its pull-chain dimmer discreetly located beneath the lampshade, the Gravity designer floor lamp easily adjusts its light intensity to suit different times of the day. The three E27 LED bulbs provide even, warm lighting—ideal next to a sofa, in a reading nook, or to create ambient lighting in a large living room. Its three-meter cable makes installation easy without restricting your layout.
An iconic creation by Gubi
Gravity perfectly exemplifies Space Copenhagen’s approach, which prioritizes objects capable of evoking lasting emotion rather than following fleeting trends. Paired with travertine, walnut, linen, or looped textiles, this Gubi floor lamp adds an elegant presence without overwhelming the space. Its balance between functionality and sculptural expression sets it apart from more conventional lighting fixtures.
The Gravity floor lamp is designed for those seeking lighting that is as beautiful as it is timeless. A signature piece that transforms light into emotion and infuses every interior with an atmosphere of serenity.
