With the Heritage 01 floor lamp, Sophie Ferjani has designed a light fixture for Serax that plays as much on light as it does on texture. Its cylindrical lampshade, made of taut wool threads, rests on a beige ceramic base punctuated by vertical openings. When the lamp is turned on, the light passes through two layers of material—first the wool, then the openwork of the base. Measuring Ø 50.5 × H 99 cm, Heritage makes a bold statement without reaching the proportions of a large traditional floor lamp.

A French interior architect, decorator, and designer, Sophie Ferjani has developed a style rooted in color, natural materials, and a warm approach to interior design.
