Santiago de Borja designer plate in hand-painted Sandstone by Shurleey
Shurleey 's pictorial world comes to the Table with this designer Plate. A rising Belgian-Peruvian artist, Shirley Villavicencio Pizango transposes her spontaneous visual language into vibrant artistic tableware, where each piece becomes the extension of a work of art.
An instinctive, expressive pictorial language
Crafted in Sandstone plates then hand-painted, each creation reveals Shurleey's artistic DNA. Her style is characterized by strong contours, free perspectives and bold flat colors. Faces, plants and symbols intertwine in compositions that are almost childlike yet profoundly contemporary. Inspired by her Peruvian roots and Amazonian Nature, she captures a raw, instinctive energy that gives each piece a unique presence.
An everyday work to live and use
Designed to accompany real-life uses, this Ceramic Plate combines artistic expression and functionality. Compatible with dishwashers, microwaves and ovens, it can be used both to serve a dish and to create a creative everyday table setting. It's a piece that responds as much to an aesthetic desire as to a concrete use, ideal for those who want to live surrounded by meaningful objects.
A table as a space for expression
In a contemporary, bohemian or arty interior, these hand-painted plates become powerful showpieces. Combine different motifs to create a visual narrative, or display them as decorative objects. They offer a singular alternative to classic tableware, asserting a free and expressive approach to the art of the table.
Adopting this Set of 2 plates means choosing a living room, where color, gesture and emotion interact to transform every meal into a lively, inspired moment.
