Simod Legald has designed a beautiful dresser, rich in details, by combining light brown wood and coloured metals. The designer explains, “I love to deepen the details of my creations. As they are usually quite simple, it is the details that allow me to bring a personal touch and to give them a character.” In the case of Kabino, he has especially worked on the sliding doors in order to break their uniform surface and to create some dynamics. Thus, the handles are asymmetric and hollow, which makes them an integral part of the doors. One of these two doors made of lacquered aluminium is perforated. This grid gives Kabino a modern and graphic look, which is softened by the visual warmth of ash wood. Kabino will be useful everywhere; in entrance halls, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms or bedrooms. Kabino can also be used as a TV table, because at the backside, it has a hole for cables to pass, and the perforated door makes it possible to use remote controls even if this door is closed. The legs are removable, so that you can stack two Kabinos on each other (by removing the legs of the upper one).
