La Bella Tavola porcelain design Salad bowl by Ettore Sottsass
A centerpiece designed to accompany moments of sharing with elegance and precision.
An ample silhouette for the eye
With its 29 cm diameter and 2.5-liter capacity, this designer Salad bowl is a structuring element of the table. Designed in 1993, it takes up the emblematic codes of La Bella Tavola with its broad lines and finely worked edges. Fine porcelain adds a remarkable visual lightness, ideal for allowing culinary compositions to breathe. The White version asserts a minimalist aesthetic, while the slightly faded Cobalt blue decoration introduces a soft, subtle graphic dimension.
Everyday use designed for sharing
This China Salad bowl is the perfect accompaniment to any social gathering. It's the perfect place for a large salad, roasted vegetables or a family dish to be shared at the center of the table. Its depth and volume allow generous serving without compromising elegance. It's a natural choice for a dinner party with friends, as well as for everyday use, when you're looking for something reliable and pleasant to use.
A free and expressive table
Bella Tavola invites you to create your own personal table setting. Combine this designer Salad bowl with the plates in the collection to create a coherent whole, or play up the contrast by mixing finishes. On a light wood table, a linen tablecloth or a more contemporary setting, it adds a discreet yet assertive touch of Italian design.
Adopting this Salad bowl means choosing a piece that accompanies your moments of sharing with meaning and simplicity. An elegant way to make the Centrepiece a true gesture of style.
