Lager Cork Wall Memo Board: A Stylish and Functional Display
The Lager Wall Memo Board by Ferm Living captures the collection’s clean, architectural aesthetic in a dark cork finish. Its surface makes it easy to pin notes, photos, maps, or inspirational items, while its brushed aluminium frame provides a more structured finish than a traditional cork board. Measuring 45 cm wide by 104 cm high, it features a slender vertical format that makes efficient use of a narrow section of wall. Its MDF backing is made from FSC-certified MDF.
Dark cork becomes a design element of decoration
In this version, the cork plays more than just a functional role. Its dark brown hue creates a rich, warm surface that contrasts with the precision of the brushed aluminium frame. This combination of materials gives the board a more graphic presence and allows it to remain decorative even when few items are pinned to it. It thus functions equally well as an organizational tool and as a canvas for visual composition.
Where should you place a cork board?
Lager naturally fits into an office, entryway, bedroom, or creative space. Placed above a desk, it keeps reminders, documents, and sources of inspiration within easy view. In an entryway, it can hold cards, invitations, or everyday notes. Its 45-cm-wide format is particularly well-suited for narrow walls or spaces where you want to organize your displays without taking up too much room.
Can the Lager board be hung horizontally?
Yes, the Lager board can be mounted vertically or horizontally thanks to its keyhole mounting system. The vertical orientation highlights its narrow format, while the horizontal installation creates a more panoramic display area above a desk, console table, or low cabinet.
Can this board be used as a mood board?
Yes. Its cork surface allows you to pin images, lightweight samples, maps, or visual references to create an evolving wall mood board. It can thus support a decorating or creative project, or simply serve as a way to gather personal inspirations in one place.
Lager transforms the classic cork board into a true design element. Its dark surface, aluminium frame, and modular format let you organize your ideas while giving the wall a sleek, graphic presence.
