Vase La Timida - When poetry takes shape
A combination of delicacy and boldness, La Bigotta' s Vase La Timida embodies femininity in its purest form. Inspired by one of the artist's cult illustrations, often used as a tattoo, the Vase transforms a simple flower into an artistic gesture, a domestic ritual into silent poetry. Behind the pseudonym La Bigotta lies Anna Neudecker, a German artist born in Munich in 1982 and based between Rome and Milan. Trained in the visual arts, she worked in catering and fashion before becoming a tattoo artist and illustrator. Today, La Bigotta has established herself as a singular figure, blending symbolism, surrealism and feminine sensibility in an immediately recognizable visual language.
A sculptural body between modesty and poetry
Sculptural and modest, La Timida stands like a headless female figure, her hands clasped behind her back. Her naked body in white China rests on a small circular Plaster Tray that acts as a Catch all. At the crossroads of soft surrealism and contemporary design, it expresses the discreet grace so dear to La Bigotta. When a flower is placed inside, it becomes the face of the female figure, giving life to a veritable "flower-woman", a symbol of harmony between body and Nature.
