Lepid 150 cm Console Table: When Line Becomes Architecture

Measuring 150 cm in length, the Lepid console table features a low, graphic silhouette that is almost architectural. Its design is based on a precise interplay of intersecting horizontal and vertical lines, while the contrasting edges highlight each element like the contours of a drawing. Balancing solid and void, the piece maintains a light presence despite its generous size. This unique approach makes the structure itself the primary decorative element.

The structural detail becomes Decoration

In the Lepid collection, the edge is no longer merely a finish. It becomes a true graphic element. The colored surfaces are framed by contrasting edges that accentuate the piece’s geometry and evoke the spontaneity of a hand-drawn line. This visual language extends throughout the collection, which includes bookcases, shelving units, end tables, and console tables. Crafted from recycled wood fibre panels with a lacquered polyester finish, Lepid combines graphic expression with more sustainable material choices. The wood used comes from FSC-certified forests.

Where should you place a 150-cm-long Console table?

A 150-cm Console is particularly well-suited for a living room, a spacious entryway, or along a long wall. At just 36 cm deep, Lepid offers a generous surface area while taking up minimal floor space. Its top tray is perfect for displaying a lamp, books, or decorative objects, while the lower level creates a second horizontal plane ideal for showcasing a selection of objects.

Which finish should you choose for the Lepid console table?

The choice depends mainly on the desired effect in the room. The Ivory version creates a bright, graphic look with its black edges. The Burgundy version offers a deeper, more sophisticated tone. The Mustard finish exudes a warm and more expressive presence. In all three cases, the contrast between surfaces and contours accentuates the piece’s geometric design.

Does the Lepid console table need to be mounted on the wall?

Yes, the Lepid console table must be mounted on the wall to be installed properly. It measures L 150 x D 36 x H 70 cm and is delivered unassembled with assembly instructions. Its assembly system incorporates recessed rails designed to ensure both structural strength and ease of assembly.

With its elongated design and interplay of intersections, Lepid instantly adds rhythm to a wall. More than just a display surface, it introduces a true composition of lines, colors, and negative space into the room.
