Lepid plays as much with solid forms as with empty space. The various planes intersect and overlap without weighing down the silhouette, creating an almost architectural rhythm. Patricia Urquiola makes the edge a central element of the design. Highlighted by a contrasting color, it runs along the structure like the outline of a sketch. This design choice gives the Console a unique presence, halfway between a functional piece of furniture and a graphic composition. The collection also includes bookcases and shelves, all built around this same language of lines and intersections.

The structure is made of recycled wood fibre panels with a polyester lacquer finish. The wood comes from FSC-certified forests. The various pieces are assembled using a system of recessed rails designed to combine structural strength with ease of assembly.
