This innovative Lamp received prestigious recognition by winning the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023 and being selected by the Boutique du Centre Pompidou. This double distinction testifies to its success.
This sculptural Lamp creates a hypnotic Toy of light. Lop consists of a sphere in white opaline glass that appears to float amidst acrylic strata. Toy's interlocking volumes create a surprising visual effect. When lit, the sphere's reflections materialize on the row of Acrylic plates, giving an impression of movement. Even though the sphere is static, its multiple reflections give the illusion that it is animated by movement.
The Lop lamp is by French designer Thomas Vincent, creative director of Vietnamese brand Bang. Its design is rooted in Bang's core values: a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, innovative design and excellent workmanship. Challenging conventional wisdom, Lop reflects contemporary Vietnamese design and is a testament to the country's thriving design industry. Lop confidently embodies a modern Vietnam where design and creativity know no bounds.
In Vietnamese, Lop means "stratum, layers".
Only the Blue lamps are supplied with a red bulb. All other colors come with a Warm white Bulb.
