With the Loulou LED wireless lamp, CRÈME ATELIER transforms an everyday light fixture into a true work of art. Designed in collaboration with Swedish artist Yoyo Nasty, this is the brand’s first artistic collaboration, combining a 3D-printed sculptural silhouette with a linen cover adorned with colorful patterns. Rechargeable and easy to move, Loulou adapts to different moments throughout the day—from a bedside table to a bookcase, then from a reading nook to an end table.

The Vibrant World of Yoyo Nasty

On the Loulou lamp, Yoyo Nasty showcases her full graphic vocabulary. Felines with almost fantastical silhouettes weave their way among large strawberries, flowers, foliage, berries, and freely drawn plant forms. The lines wind around the Lampshade and Base, creating a dense composition full of movement. The bold blocks of color, the deliberately naive outlines, and the unexpected combinations give each version a highly expressive personality.

This visual language is directly linked to the world of Yoyo Nasty, a Swedish artist and illustrator based in Stockholm. Trained in fashion design at Beckmans College of Design and later at Konstfack, she creates work at the intersection of illustration, fashion, and design. For Loulou, her spontaneous and colorful compositions transform light into a true artistic medium.

The three variations reinterpret this same imaginary garden. “Midnight Garden” highlights pinks, acid greens, and blues against a deep green background. “Powdery Garden” features a softer pink base, enlivened by reds, greens, and cream tones. “Jardin de lin” features a luminous beige background, accented with blue, red, green, and yellow. More than just a decorative element, these patterns give Loulou the presence of a small piece of textile art.

Crafted in Stockholm, blending 3D printing and Textiles

Each Loulou lamp is produced and assembled in the CRÈME ATELIER studio in Stockholm. Its structure is 3D-printed from recycled PLA, then covered with 100% linen fabric featuring Yoyo Nasty’s prints. The brand works primarily with rPLA derived from cornstarch and Recycled Packaging. This layer-by-layer manufacturing method allows for the creation of the sculptural forms characteristic of CRÈME ATELIER while offering an alternative to traditional manufacturing processes.

Where can you place a Loulou wireless lamp?

Loulou can be placed in many areas of the home thanks to its compact size (Ø 21 x H 20 cm) and cordless design. On a bedside table, it creates a decorative light source. On a shelf or console table, it adds color and visual interest. In a living room, it complements an end table without requiring a nearby electrical outlet. Its portability also allows you to move it as needed.

Can the Loulou lamp be used as a Night Light in a child’s bedroom?

Yes, its portable design and three-level dimmer allow it to be used as a Night Light in a child’s bedroom. The brightness can be set to 100%, 65%, or 35%, providing a softer light at bedtime. It is designed for indoor use and has an IP44 rating.

How long does the Loulou lamp last on a single charge?

The lamp offers up to 10 hours of battery life after a full charge. It takes 5 to 6 hours to recharge. It comes with a 2-meter white textile magnetic micro-USB cable, which makes it easy to set up while charging.
