With its balanced proportions, the Marius Hartô bedside table combines practical storage with decorative appeal. Designed by Pierre-François Dubois, Marius is recognizable by its curved base, slanted lines, and herringbone-patterned front. These details echo the maritime world—ship hulls and sails—while evoking traditional woodworking techniques.
The brown-tinted oak finish enhances the piece’s character without obscuring the wood’s natural grain. More enveloping than light wood, it blends naturally into a bedroom with neutral tones, featuring linen, wool, opal glass, or mineral materials.
