Melt Cone Fat - the magic of molten metal
A cross between sculpture and lighting, the Melt Cone Fat table lamp fascinates with its shifting reflections. Its organic shape, like a drop of molten metal, captures the light to create a hypnotic, poetic effect.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Melt collection, Tom Dixon introduces a sumptuous Bronze declination, with reflections reminiscent of melted chocolate. This warm, bewitching hue enhances the luminaire's organic contours, giving it an even more magnetic presence. Each piece is engraved "10 YEARS OF MELT - Tom Dixon", as a tribute to a decade of innovation and luminous fascination.

Made from blow-molded polycarbonate and vacuum-metallized, the Melt Cone Fat lampshade reveals unique technological know-how. Switched off, its surface is adorned with a deep, reflective Bronze Mirror effect. When lit, it becomes translucent, diffusing a warm, golden glow. Each angle reveals a different visual depth, for a piece that's both decorative and sculptural.
Controlled light and functional design
Featuring an integrated 6W LED source, this lamp offers a soft, even glow, ideal for creating a felted ambience. The Dimmer on the Cable lets you adjust the light intensity to suit your use - reading, relaxing or simply setting the scene. Its conical base in black Steel provides stability and contrast, emphasizing the fluidity of the lampshade.
