Melt Portable Large: the nomadic elegance of contemporary design

An iconic collection

Since its launch in 2015, Tom Dixon's Melt collection has fascinated design enthusiasts with its organic aesthetic and mesmerizing lighting effects. Inspired by natural phenomena - molten glass inside a melting glacier - each piece evokes a dynamic, fluid sensation. The self-taught British designer, renowned for his innovative approach, has seen his creations exhibited at prestigious institutions such as MoMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.

Innovative aesthetics

The Melt large portable wireless lamp embodies the fusion of sophisticated design and modern functionality. Rechargeable and highly flexible, it is equally at home indoors or out. Its large Metallised polycarbonate Lampshade transforms: when switched off, it sports a mirror finish, and when lit, it becomes translucent to diffuse a warm, hypnotic light. This visual metamorphosis creates a unique ambience, playing with reflections and depth.

Versatile installation for all your spaces

Designed to blend harmoniously into a variety of environments, the Melt portable large features a removable tripod for placing on the floor. A suspension strap makes it easy to hang - whether from an indoor beam or from a branch during outdoor parties. Its rechargeable battery provides 6 to 8 hours of autonomy, and can be recharged in just 5 hours thanks to the USB-C cable supplied.

Tailor-made ambience, reflecting your style

What's more, a built-in Dimmer offers three levels of light intensity and lets you adjust the color temperature to suit your desired mood.
