The polycarbonate sphere is made in Germany using a blow-molding process that gives it its unique irregular lines. The glossy, opalescent white finish of the polycarbonate is reminiscent of natural pearls.

Tom Dixon's specially developed LED Unit provides optimum illumination (3000K) that mimics daylight.
