"Created by German designer David Geckeler, the Nerd bar chair highlights an innovative junction of the backrest and seat which gives it a strong personality and iconic presence. Very original, this bar chair was conceived as a reinterpretation of the archetypes of Scandinavian design. It uses wood and craft techniques characteristic of Scandinavian design, while freeing itself from tradition via a modern, bold design. Very comfortable, this ergonomically designed bar chair is available in a multitude of colours to match all your decorative desires! Designer David Geckeler: "’Nerd Chair brings a fun dimension to the archetypal wooden chair through the innovative integration of seat and backrest, adding a unique character to the design. Although the details are contemporary and subtly original, the general expression of the Nerd chair fits into the traditional values of Scandinavian design. Nerd brings new perspectives to Scandinavian design by combining the traditional material of wood with a simple but slightly eccentric conceptual language, which makes it a timeless chair and adds character to any space.
