Table Coffee table Opalia - When Patricia Urquiola sublimates Italian glass art
A rare alliance of raw material and refined poetry, the Opalia coffee table reveals the expressive power of glass. A functional sculpture designed for Glas Italia, it embodies the perfect dialogue between ancestral craftsmanship and contemporary creativity.
A material sculpted by fire and light
Fashioned from fused glass scraps, each Opalia table features bubbles, ripples and reliefs that give it an organic identity. Its legs, attached to the Tray by glued plates and joints in Brushed anodized aluminium, underline the alliance of technical precision and craftsmanship. Available in bronze or transparent, it captures the light and transforms itself according to the angle and the gaze.
Elegance for everyday use
Designed as a generous Coffee table (113 x 71 x H 35 cm), Opalia combines stability, functionality and refinement. High-precision assembly ensures robustness and longevity, transforming this creation into a prestigious piece of furniture as much as an objet d'art.
A design showcase for exceptional interiors
In a contemporary living room, it combines with marble, Walnut, Curly wool or Polished steel. Its crystalline transparency and bronze sheen blend equally well with a Haussmannian apartment or minimalist architecture, magnifying the space with intensity.
The quintessence of Italian design, Glas Italia is an expert in the art of sublimating glass using the finest artisanal methods. Each piece is crafted by Italian master glassmakers. Patricia Urquiola is a world-renowned Spanish designer who works with some of the world's most prestigious publishers, and is known for an approach that combines formal experimentation and emotion.
InvitingOpalia into your home means choosing a work of art that transcends its function to become a sculpture of light.
WARNING: fused Glass has obvious irregularities and structural and chromatic differences. These are intrinsic characteristics of the material and can in no way constitute grounds for complaint.
