Outdoor Market folding sofa HAY
The spirit of vintage camping, reinvented by one of the greatest names in contemporary design.
With the Outdoor Market collection, HAY and Jasper Morrison have imagined a new art of outdoor living, free, spontaneous and perfectly in tune with today's lifestyle. Inspired by traditional camping equipment, this line brings together lightweight, easy-to-live-with folding pieces designed to accompany both escapades in the great outdoors and simple moments on a terrace, balcony or in the garden. A vision faithful to Jasper Morrison's "super normal" philosophy, where objects enrich everyday life through their obviousness and utility.
Durable materials with authentic charm
The Outdoor Market folding sofa is distinguished by its balance between formal simplicity and manufacturing quality. Its FSC-certified beechwood structure, protected by a water-based lacquer, reveals the natural beauty of wood, while its recycled polyester seat offers strength and suppleness. The graphic stripes, inspired by an antique Basque textile discovered at a flea market, give this outdoor sofa a warm, timeless identity, between tradition and modernity.
A garden sofa designed for life in the great outdoors
Lightweight, sturdy and easy to handle, the folding garden sofa has been designed to accompany any situation. Its structure folds quickly and is easy to transport thanks to the matching Bag supplied. Two pockets discreetly integrated into the backrest keep books, glasses or small objects close at hand. A comfortable, welcoming seat, ideal for relaxing in the sun, by the water or at an impromptu picnic.
A nomadic piece for contemporary exteriors
With its simple silhouette and clean lines, the outdoor sofa finds its natural place in a well-tended garden, on a minimalist terrace or in a natural setting inspired by the wabi-sabi style. Combined with the other pieces in the Outdoor Market collection, it creates a warm, mobile outdoor space, where design accompanies shared moments.
The Outdoor Market folding sofa is one of those pieces that instantly transform moments spent outdoors. A nomadic, elegant and durable piece of seating, designed to keep pace with the sunny weather and fully enjoy the freedom of the open air.
