Outdoor Market Folding armchair HAY
The spirit of vintage camping, reinvented by one of the greatest names in contemporary design.
With the Outdoor Market collection, HAY and Jasper Morrison have imagined a new art of outdoor living, free, spontaneous and perfectly in tune with today's lifestyle. Inspired by traditional camping equipment, this line brings together lightweight, easy-to-live-with folding pieces designed to accompany both escapades in the great outdoors and simple moments on a terrace, balcony or in the garden. A vision faithful to Jasper Morrison's "super normal" philosophy, where objects enrich everyday life through their obviousness and utility.
Simplicity down to the smallest detail
In Outdoor Market, every element reflects the same demand for simplicity. Structures in FSC-certified beech wood, textiles in recycled polyester and metal details form a durable whole, designed to stand the test of time without losing any of its elegance. The stripes, inspired by an old Basque fabric discovered at a flea market, give the collection a singular graphic identity, between vernacular memory and gentle modernity.
A collection made for life in the great outdoors
More than just a series of pieces of furniture, Outdoor Market proposes a flexible and desirable way of living outdoors. The pieces can be easily folded, transported and stored, responding to a highly contemporary desire for mobility. Here, design is at the service of true freedom of use, with sturdy, nomadic and versatile objects capable of accompanying both improvised days and more settled moments of relaxation.
The Armchair, a just and Mobile presence
In this collection, the Outdoor Market folding armchair stands out for its balance between visual lightness, simple comfort and practicality. Easy to fold and transport thanks to its matching Bag, it finds its natural place at a picnic, on a terrace or in a well-tended garden. Its natural wood structure, striped textile seat and sleek silhouette give it a warm presence, easy to integrate into a refined décor. An outdoor armchair that combines mobility, allure and simplicity with rare accuracy.
The Outdoor Market folding armchair is one of those pieces that immediately transforms outdoor moments. Elegantly nomadic, it's designed to keep up with the urge to escape and prolong the simple pleasure of being outdoors in style.
