The Pallino table lamp, the 70's pop icon reinvented
Colorful, playful and instantly appealing, the Pallino Lamp embodies that unique period when Italian design dared to combine functionality and fantasy. Now reissued by Martinelli Luce, it has regained all its freshness and seductive power, like a time capsule reminding us that the simplest objects are sometimes the most memorable.
A joyful geometry that has become timeless
Designed by Elio Martinelli in the early 1970s, the Pallino table lamp is based on a remarkably simple idea. A luminous sphere hinges on a slightly inclined cylindrical base, creating an expressive silhouette that seems almost animated. Its name, which means "little ball" in Italian, is a direct reference to the spherical reflector that has become its signature. Manufactured in moulded ABS and Lacquered aluminium, this new edition retains the experimental pop spirit that characterized Italian design at the time.
Light that adapts to your everyday life
Behind its playful appearance lies real efficiency in use. Thanks to its swivel head, this adjustable Lamp lets you direct the beam of light precisely to suit your needs. On a Desk, it's the perfect companion for reading or working. Installed on a Bedside table, it diffuses a more intimate light for moments of relaxation. Its compact 24 cm height makes it easy to fit into even the smallest spaces.
The Martinelli Luce spirit in a Miniature format
With its bright colors and shiny surfaces, this Italian design lamp is a natural fit for a contemporary interior, a creative bookcase or a bedroom inspired by the seventies aesthetic. Where many lamps rely on discretion, Pallino fully assumes its personality and becomes a real conversation piece. Its expressive design draws the eye without ever losing its primary function.
More than just a light source, Pallino is a small piece of Italian design history. An endearing lamp, full of character, that illuminates spaces and smiles alike.
