Perch Tray glass brown / Small - Ø 26 cm

Serax Perch Tray: Poetry Lands on the Table

With the Perch tray, Kelly Wearstler transforms an everyday object into a small decorative scene. Crafted from glass, this 26 cm diameter piece is brought to life by an unexpected detail: a small bird perches on its rim, as if it had found its perch there. Available in amber with an amber bird or in transparent amber with an amber bird, it combines practical use with a sculptural presence.

When a bird inspires an entire collection

The idea for Perch came from a scene Kelly Wearstler observed: a small bird perched on a door handle. The designer then translated this image into a collection of glass accessories where the bird perches on vases, bowls, trays, and carafes. The contrast between the understated forms and this small figurative detail lends each piece a touch of humor and poetry.

This playful detail fits perfectly into the world of Kelly Wearstler, renowned for her love of contrasts and unexpected combinations. Her work effortlessly blends the contemporary with the vintage, the raw with the refined, and sophistication with whimsy.

How can you use the Perch tray in everyday life?

With a diameter of 26 cm, the Perch tray can be used to display a few food items, serve as a catch all, or function as a decorative accent. It fits perfectly on a coffee table, console table, desk, or bedside table. Its size is generous enough to hold several small objects without taking up too much space.

Is the Perch tray suitable for food use?

Yes. The Perch tray is food-safe, so you can use it to serve small appetizers, fruit, or sweets. However, it’s just as suitable as a decorative accessory or a Catch all for holding small items.

How do you care for the Perch tray?

The Perch tray is dishwasher- and microwave-safe, making it easy to use every day. Since it’s made entirely of glass, it’s as easy to care for as it is beautiful to display.

Which finish should you choose?

The amber version offers a warm, inviting presence. The transparent amber version with an amber bird draws more attention to the small, colorful silhouette and creates a more graphic contrast.

Placed on a table, console table, or dresser, the Perch tray catches the eye without ever being over the top. A practical object repurposed with flair, where a single bird is enough to give the whole piece a unique personality.
