Launched in 2017, this is the scaled-down version of the famous PH 5 Pendant designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen (1894 - 1967). A true icon of Danish design, PH 5 is one of the best-selling pendant lamps in Denmark!
Designed by Poul Henningsen, the PH Pendant was first presented at Copenhagen's Art & Design Museum in 1958. In his search for the "perfect light", Poul Henningsen designed the PH collection of luminaires to be as close as possible to Natural light.
These lamps are encircled by metal Lampshades that act as reflectors, guaranteeing soft, glare-free, diffused light. These Pendant lamps ensure extremely comfortable and efficient light distribution, with light directed mainly downwards, but also diffused to the sides. The design makes it impossible to see the light source directly, making it totally glare-free.
It can be hung fairly low over a dinner table, or suspended in the middle of the room in a higher position.
It can be equipped with high luminous power, while remaining comfortable to the eye.
This Pendant features three spherical Lampshades mounted on a cone. The Lampshades are connected by rods.
