Designed by Poul Henningsen, the PH Pendant was first presented at Copenhagen's Art & Design Museum in 1958. A true icon of Scandinavian design, it is one of the best-selling pendant lights in Denmark.
In search of the "perfect light", Poul Henningsen designed the "PH" collection of luminaires to be as close as possible to Natural light. These lamps are encircled by metal Lampshades that act as reflectors, guaranteeing soft, glare-free, diffused light. These Pendant lamps diffuse light comfortably and efficiently, mainly downwards, but also more subtly to the sides. The design makes it impossible to see the light source directly, making it totally glare-free.
It can be hung fairly low over a dinner table, or suspended in the middle of the room in a higher position. It can be equipped with high luminous power, while remaining comfortable to the eye.
This Pendant features three spherical Lampshades mounted on a cone. The Lampshades are connected by white metal rods.
