PH 80: a luminous tribute to Poul Henningsen
Created in 1974 in celebration of the legendary Danish designer's 80th birthday, the PH 80 Table lamp perpetuates Henningsen's quest for the perfect light. With its balanced silhouette and warm glow, it embodies the rare alliance between technical rigor and poetic emotion.
Exceptional design and finish
Beneath its sleek lines, PH 80 reveals the mastery of Danish design: a composition of three opaline acrylic Lampshades that diffuse soft, even light. Its aluminium top cone - red for a warm glow or white for minimalist purity - highlights a subtle work of contrast. The chrome-plated or white lacquered base completes this timeless aesthetic, between modernity and homage to the past.
Controlled light and visual comfort
The PH 80 offers indirect, reflected and symmetrical lighting, completely glare-free. Its stacked Lampshade system directs light downwards and sideways, creating an enveloping halo conducive to relaxation. An on-cable switch and interchangeable E14 bulb make it easy to use in any environment.
An icon of Danish design
A symbol of Nordic craftsmanship, this designer lamp is equally at home in a contemporary living room or on an elegant Desk. Its graphic style and delicate light recall the Scandinavian spirit where every detail serves clarity, functionality and beauty.
Published by Louis Poulsen, the PH 80 transcends the notion of luminaire to become a true object of contemplation. A piece that illuminates both space and spirit.
